Hi, my name is David Erlick and I am a graduate from the Temple University Fox School of Business. I have received my Bachelors of Business Administration Degree in Management Information Systems and have many years of diverse experience with computers and information technology. I have always had a keen interest in technology and even though I was a full time student, I still found time to engage in various employment opportunities and activities during that time.
I currently work at Oracle America as a Senior Associate Database Administrator, having recently started in October of 2022. While I don’t have a lot of information to share at this time, I will try to share more in the future.
I previously worked at NextGen Healthcare as an Application Engineer/Sr Specialist I, where I provided in depth application support for clients running the NextGen Ambulatory EHR/PM Application Suite. As a Application Engineer, I performed highly specialized consultant and technical support assistance to Ambulatory clients. This would range from a single Provider to hundreds of Provider and multi disciplinary large clients. I applied my knowledge to their Managed Services offerings as well as diverse customer environments, helping to optimize systems and resolve issues. This role required adaptive critical thinking and analytical skills to identify and resolve the highly complex technical and performance related cases.
Additionally, for over 12 years, I have been running my own business, called Erlick Computer Help. This company has provided computer consulting and technical support to over 500 unique customers. Some examples of work I have done include hardware and software troubleshooting, desktop and laptop repair, servers, networking, printers and many others. In this role, I also served as a subcontractor and preferred provider for HP, Dell and many other companies. I have been involved in major store roll-outs and projects for Giant Foods, Ross, Citizens Bank, Jos A. Bank and others.
I have also participated in activities such as judging science fair competitions for the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science and George Washington Carver Science Fairs. In addition, I served as a Marketing Director for the Student Professional Organization for my major, which is the Association of Management Information Systems. I have also served as a Radio Show Host for WRFM Radio Station for three years.
While I am not actively seeking opportunities at this time, I would definitely be open to networking and expanding my professional circle. Please do not hesitate to contact me or for any questions that you may have using the Contact Page.
